HOME CONTROL SWITCH AUTOMATION USING GSM COMMUNICATION
The advantage of cellular communication such as GSM technology is a potential solution to these remote control operations. The GSM-SMS technology can be used to control home appliances from remote locations. From a distance, the system enables the homeowner to monitor and control their household appliances via their mobile phone set by sending commands via SMS message and receiving the status of the devices as well. This system provides an ideal solution to the problems in situations where a wired connection between a device of the remote device and the control unit may not be feasible. The system is wireless and uses the user's mobile, system is more adaptable and profitable. The system uses GSM technology providing universal access to the system for control of the apparatus. With this assumption, three different approaches have been proposed and implemented in this project; FIRST, switch devices / Household home control are controlled by the mobile server that acts as remote. OTHER, GSM-SMS technology is used to control from remote locations and finally, to provide multiple environmental agents.
