AN EVALUATION OF THE IMPACT OF NAPEP ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT IN NIGERIA (A CASE STUDY OF IMO STATE)

ABSTRACT

The program was designed by the government to meet the young unemployed and employed throughout the country. In the study conclusion, a questionnaire was administered with primary and secondary data on the different categories to know the percentage of the response to the analysis. There were 33 questions in total which were divided into different categories. In accordance with the policy implemented by the majority agreed that the policy does not address the multidimensional problems. 66.7% agree that the government and NGOs are needed, while 33.3% disagreed and 5.6% agree that there are sufficient funds available. By encouraging the development of entrepreneurship in Imo State, we finally recommended that the Government should monitor the funds being allocated to the various sectors of the economy for enhanced activities of NEPEP so that they help more beneficiaries for greater and effective participation in the program for the benefit of the Nigerian economy
